15 Free Holy Week Coloring Pages (Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday & Easter)
Holy Week covers a lot of ground in just seven days, joy, an intimate meal, quiet grief, uncertain waiting, and finally celebration. Most coloring pages flatten that into one or two big moments.
These 15 hand-drawn Holy Week pages give the whole week room to breathe, one day, one feeling, one page at a time, following the actual rhythm of the church calendar.
A Note from Louisa (Founder of MyKidColors)
The kitchen and living room were the most alive parts of our house growing up, full of stories, cooking smells, laughter, everyone in and out.
That’s the image that stays with me most from this whole week, not just the procession or the cross, but a family gathered at a table together on an ordinary Thursday evening, sharing a meal that mattered more than they maybe realized at the time.

Conversation Corner: 3 Questions to Ask While Coloring
While your child colors, try turning it into a conversation instead of just an activity:
- For “Jesus Rides Into Jerusalem” (Page 1): “The crowd was so excited to see Jesusโhave you ever been that excited to see someone you love? What did it feel like?”
- For “Washing Feet Together” (Page 7): “Jesus washed his friends’ feet even though he was their leader. Can you think of a small way you could serve someone this week?”
- For “The Empty Tomb” (Page 15): “The tomb was empty because Jesus was alive again. How do you think the family in this picture felt when they found out?”

- Parents at Home: Pages 13 and 8 tie the sacred parts of the week to ordinary family lifeโdinner table and game nightโshowing kids that faith isn’t separate from daily routines.
Illustrated by Real People
Holy Week has one enormous, well-known ending, but most of the week is actually made up of small, ordinary moments, a shared meal, a quiet garden, a family waiting together at home. I wanted a real illustrator who would give those quieter days just as much care as Sunday’s big moments.
As a mom-led brand, we know most of life happens in the ordinary, in-between moments. These pages were made to honor that, all week long.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these as a Holy Week timeline for kids?
Yesโlay the 15 pages out in story order (Palm Sunday, foot washing, Last Supper, prayer, cross, empty tomb) and let your child walk through them like a physical timeline. It’s a great way to help kids see how each day of Holy Week connects to the next, rather than treating Easter as a single isolated event.
Are any of these suitable for a Maundy Thursday or foot-washing service?
Page 7 was made exactly for this. Print it as a bulletin insert or quiet-activity sheet for a family or classroom foot-washing service, and pair it with Page 8’s shared-meal scene to talk about the Last Supper immediately afterward.
What’s a meaningful way to use the empty tomb page (Page 15) on Easter morning?
Save Page 15 specifically for Easter Sunday instead of coloring it earlier in the week. Many families use it as a “reveal” pageโkids color it fresh on Easter morning as a way to mark the resurrection as the story’s turning point, not just another page in the stack.
Holy Saturday doesn’t have a dramatic event like the other days. Why include a page for it at all?
That’s actually the point of page 13. Holy Saturday is a day of waiting, nothing visibly happens, which can be a genuinely useful thing for a child to sit with. Ask what it feels like to wait for something big without knowing exactly when it’s coming. That’s a real, relatable feeling even outside the religious context.
