Life does not always go the way we expect, and the story of Job gives children a powerful lesson about trusting God through every season. Through moments of joy, uncertainty, questions, and restoration, Job’s story reminds us that faith can remain strong even when circumstances change.

These free Job Bible coloring Pages were created to help children explore one of the most meaningful stories in the Bible through creativity and conversation.

A Note from Louisa (Founder of MyKidColors)

Nothing really prepared me for what extreme cold in Alaska actually felt like, temperatures near negative 40, snow piled higher than my car, watching a moose wander into a parking lot like it was nothing. I felt genuinely small next to all of it, in a way that wasn’t frightening so much as humbling.

That’s the feeling I get from God’s response to Job, less an answer to his suffering and more a long list of wild, untamed things Job had never made and couldn’t begin to control. Sometimes being reminded how much is bigger than you is its own kind of comfort.

This story is part of something bigger…

Conversation Corner: 3 Questions to Ask While Coloring

Turn coloring time into a meaningful conversation about faith, emotions, and trusting God. While your child colors, ask questions like these:

  1. For “Boy Looking at the Stars” (Page 1): “Job talked about God’s amazing creation. What is something in nature that reminds you how powerful and creative God is?”
  2. For “Grandmother Talking With Child at Bedtime” (Page 7): “Who helps you feel loved and supported when you are having a difficult day? How can we encourage others?”
  3. For “Family Celebrating Together” (Page 9): “Job experienced difficult times and joyful times. What are some things we can be thankful for today?”

Every Coloring Page Starts With a Real Artist

There’s a particular kind of relief that shows up after a genuinely hard season finally lifts, not loud celebration exactly, more like remembering how to breathe. That’s the feeling this set leans into, the restored family gathered at the table, the stars that still feel enormous and comforting rather than distant.

At My Kid Colors, every page is made by a real human illustrator who thinks about dignity, cultural awareness, and emotional truth before a single line gets drawn, so that restored feast on page 8 reads as genuinely earned, not generic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most versions of Job’s story I’ve seen focus on his suffering, losing his children, his health, everything. This set doesn’t show that at all. Was that intentional?

Yes, entirely intentional. We chose to focus on two parts of the story that hold up well for young children on their own, God’s response from the whirlwind, which is really a tour of creation’s wonders, and the restoration at the end. The suffering itself is real and significant, but it’s not something a coloring page needs to carry. If your child is older and ready for the fuller story, I’d read those chapters together directly rather than relying on these pages to introduce that part.

What ages are these Job Bible coloring pages suitable for?

This collection works well for preschoolers, kindergarten students, and elementary-aged children. Younger children can enjoy the simpler designs, while older children can use the illustrations as conversation starters about faith and character.

How can I teach the story of Job using these coloring pages?

Read the Job Bible Story, discuss key moments from Job’s journey, and allow children to color scenes that represent creation, challenges, friendship, and restoration. These pages can become part of a larger Job Bible Lesson For Kids.
